Constituent Response Coordinator

Our campaign is actively organizing the community around issues that matter to them, and we are soliciting new ideas from community members to guide our campaign priorities. Interns will create opportunities for residents to have their concerns heard by the candidate and spread awareness of the candidate’s current work to address community needs. Interns will gain experience with community relations, coordinating public communications, and developing a strategy outreach plan.

Start Date: As soon as practicable

End Date: November 8, 2022

Requirements

  • 5 hrs/week average 
  • Maintain weekly meeting schedule with supervisor 
  • In-person work in New Brunswick 
  • Ability to carry out projects independently 
  • Strong communication and organizational skills 

Responsibilities

  • Communicate directly with constituents about their top concerns or individual issues they face 
  • Work with campaign leadership to develop action plans to address constituent concerns 
  • Execute planned actions to address constituent concerns, and directly engage constituents in the process 
  • Publicly promote the campaign’s work to address constituent concerns, and actively solicit more input from the community
