About the candidate:

Charlie Kratovil is an investigative journalist and community organizer, Rutgers graduate, and 18-year resident of New Brunswick. He has a long history of fighting for everyday people. As the founder of the bilingual, hyperlocal news outlet New Brunswick Today, he informs the public about issues that matter and exposes local government corruption and misconduct. As a community organizer, he helped win voters the right to elect their school board members; successfully advocated for just compensation for the city’s hard working crossing guards; and works full-time as an environmental advocate to protect our air, water and climate.

About the campaign:

Charlie’s mayoral run is focused on the issues that really matter to New Brunswick residents: affordability of life in the city, crime and policing, and protecting our environment. Our campaign team is energized to make a difference, and we’re out in the community every day engaging and organizing residents. Join our team to help Charlie bring change to our city!
